Tennis Coach Tips: Volley Tip-Use of nondominant hand

The use of the nondominant hand tends to be neglected when executing volleys. It is very common to see players focus mostly on the hitting arm and disregard the opposite side when at the net.
  1. Gets the racquet away from the body
  2. Keeps the racquet head up
  3. Opens the racquet face
  4. Holds the weight of the racquet Helps with preparation
