Learn Volley from World Famous Coach

Nicholas James Bollettieri (born July 31, 1931 in Pelham, New York) is an American tennis coach who is credited with developing many world-class tennis champions, including Andre Agassi, Jim Courier, Monica Seles, and Mary Pierce. He also has worked with 2006 U.S. Open champion Maria Sharapova, Daniela Hantuchova, Jelena Janković, Nicole Vaidišová, Sabine Lisicki, Sara Errani, Tommy Haas, Max Mirnyi, Xavier Malisse, Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Martina Hingis, Anna Kournikova, and Marcelo Ríos. He coached Boris Becker for two years.

3 elements of a good volley
1) Bend your Knees and keep racquet head up
2) short backswing
3) contact out infront of the body
Note : Split step is important for Volley as it prepare you to react to oncoming balls.


Net Drill from Brad Gilbert
Brad Gilbert (born August 9, 1961) is an American tennis coach, a television tennis commentator, an author and former professional tennis player. He was born in Oakland, California and graduated from Piedmont High School (California).
Gilbert's career-high singles ranking was world no. 4, which he reached in January 1990. Since retiring from the tour, he has coached several top players, including Andre Agassi, Andy Roddick, and Andy Murray. As of 2011, he is coaching Kei Nishikori.
