Tennis Coach Tips: Federer vs Sampras Serve Analysis
Roger Federer is a 17th Grand Slam Champion. Prior to that record being broken, Pete Sampras is a 14th Grandslam champion.
Two of the biggest differences are:
1. Sampras stretches the left side of his body much more than Federer in the trophy position, Federer is much straighter in that position
2. Sampras uses more of a snap finish with his elbow bending very quickly after contact whereas Federer has a much more extended arm on the follow through Sampras also rotates a little more in the trophy position.
